We have a 24 hour Cancellation Policy. If you cancel your reservation 24 hours before your trip you will receive a full refund. Should you leave a voice message or email 24 hours before your trip this will be honored. All sales within 24 hours are non-transferable and non-refundable.

While we have gone out in light rain before, it is not something we normally do. If we have to cancel due to any kind of inclement weather (including rain, hail, thunder/lighting, strong wind or heavy seas) you will be given the option to reschedule your reservation or to fully refund your reservation.
Because your safety is our first priority we reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time at the captain’s discretion.

Each cruise is typically about 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes) long. There may be times due to wind or tide that a trip may be closer to 90 minutes.

Arrive 30 minutes before your departure time. Our tours are timed with other boats in the harbor and cannot be delayed. If you arrive at the departure time or after our boat will have left the dock. Please plan accordingly.

Bathrooms are available at the marina before and after boarding. There is an emergency head on our vessel. It is called a head because it is not a bathroom, it is a boat bathroom (head) and is not that comfortable. It is also not handicapped accessible.

Parking is free here at the Saquatucket Marina. There are two large lots available.

Layers are always recommended, especially in the spring and fall but also in the summer. It is significantly cooler on the water. We also suggest you bring a hat, camera, binoculars, polarized sunglasses, and sunscreen.
-
Everyone is different when it comes to getting seasick! If it is something you are prone to try looking into a motion sickness pill to take before boarding. This is not something we provide at the marina though.
Since our vessel is a catamaran hull it does not typically rock side to side as much as a single keeled vessel. As a result we have fewer cases of seasickness. -
Snacks are not offered on board but you are welcome to bring your own. Drinks are permitted on board as well, but please no glass. (only small, softshell coolers permitted)
-
Infants of all ages are permitted on the boat. For some smaller children the tour does not hold their attention the whole 75-90 minutes, which is why we say it is up to the parent’s discretion. We do have infant life-jackets on board for emergency use only. If you would like your infant or child to wear a life jacket during the whole tour we recommend bringing your own.
-
Strollers are not allowed on board.
-
Gray seals are around the Cape and Monomoy Island all year long! We only run our tours from April to November though. No matter when we go you will see seals, but in the spring they will most likely still be on the outer beaches. Come summer they are found in the water and around shallow sandbars. In the fall it can go either way! The tide will be a factor on our route as well and things change all the time out there. You can always call our office at 508-430-7772 with more in depth questions.

We see a lot more than just seals! We like to tour some of the neighboring harbors, check out the changing sands of Monomoy, and we see light houses from the water too! Our on board naturalist will help point out birds, fish, and different flora too. They are also well versed on our local history.
